IMMIGRATION - E-2 Visa Petition (Nationwide) - For an E-2 visa application, you'll need to submit Form DS-160, along with supporting documents like investment evidence, business plans, and proof of nationality and control over the business.

 

Form DS-160

  • This is the standard online nonimmigrant visa application form that must be completed by each applicant.
  • You'll need to provide your information and purpose for going to the US.
  • After completing the form, you'll receive a confirmation page and code, which you'll need for your interview. 

 

Supporting Documents (Investment):

  • Evidence of a "substantial" investment in a U.S. business.
  • Business plans and financial projections.
  • Proof of funds, such as bank statements or investment agreements.

 

Supporting Documents (Business):

  • Business license/permit/proof of registration.
  • Invoices of sales and evidence of payments received.
  • Business account transaction records for the past three months.
  • Current/commercial account statements.

 

Supporting Documents (Nationality & Control):

  • Passport and other documents proving nationality.
  • Documents demonstrating control over the business, such as ownership documents or articles of incorporation.

 

Supporting Documents (Other):

  • A letter describing the investment enterprise and how the presented evidence satisfies all the requirements for E-2 investment visa eligibility.
  • Any other documents requested by the consular officer during the interview.
