IMMIGRATION - E-3 Visa Petition (Nationwide) - The E-3 visa is reserved only for Australian citizens who work in a “specialty” occupation. A specialty occupation is one which

Requires theoretical and practical application of a body of highly specialized knowledge to fully perform the occupation and which requires the attainment of the equivalent of an American bachelor’s degree or higher in a specific specialty as a minimum for entry into the United States.

In short, an E-3 visa is available for most recognized professional positions and for any role where a strong argument exists that the normal hiring requirement in a specific field of study is a bachelor’s degree (or higher). It allows a person to work only for the company that filed the petition and is valid for two years at a time and can typically be extended indefinitely (as long as applicant locks immigrant intent).

Documents Include (but is not limited to):

  • Cover Letter
  • Form G-28
  • Letter from the Petitioning Employers or their Annual Report
  • Proof of Applicant's Qualifiations
  • Information confirming job is a speciality occupation
  • Labor Condition Application

In order to schedule an interview, an applicant must complete an online DS-160, pay the visa fee, and upload an electronic passport photo.  Once approved, an applicant will get their passport with the E-3 visa back several business days after the interview (processing times vary depending on Consulate and time of year).

Price does not include any Third-Party Fees; Local, State and/or Federal Application or Filing Fees.
